Our understanding about the scope and diversity of the Universe has grown at an amazing pace in the past few decades. So, too, our discoveries about the machinery of life and enigma of Intelligence. Our growing knowledge make this an exciting time to be alive. Never before has the pace of discovery been so fast.
The relationship between these forces is the greatest mystery of this journey called life. We are only now beginning to appreciate our connection with it all.
Poetry is a prism that links objects, ideas and processes through rhythm and music, rather than cause and effect. It provides an unique perspective to stimulate meditation on these timeless questions and reminds us that the complex dynamics are delightful as well as challenging.
Come share the intricacies of our place in the Cosmos through these UniVerses.
You can navigate through this site through three paths, or you can select specific titles on the right.
The first series traces the origin and evolution of the Universe. We are only beginning to realize the diversity of the space:time continuum. The little we know has stretched our imaginations. You can begin this trail by clicking on the word "Cosmos" and following the links thereafter.
The second path focuses on Earth and traces the origin of Life. The force of life exists only as the product of the interaction of a myriad components: the molecules that make up a cell, the cells that make up an organism, the collective behavior that makes up a species and the synthesis of all living things. You can begin this trail by clicking on the word "Design."
The third path focuses on Man and probes the enigma of intelligence, a radical new, noetic, force in the Cosmos to unite all.
